Joe Delfgauw on Missed Local Search Opportunities
Greetings everyone. I hope this article finds you healthy and well. I’m excited to announce one of my newest projects to help local businesses: Maptimizer.
Simply put, Maptimizer is my new service that helps local customers find local businesses when it matters the most.
Let me tell you about the major flaw that I saw killing some local businesses…
As an owner of 37 businesses (at the time of writing this article), I know how important it is for local customers to find local companies.
It’s the very lifeblood of any local business. If customers can’t find you, then you won’t stay in business very long.
In my own personal experience, I uncovered a massive flaw that was killing some great local businesses– they didn’t understand how to claim their local online business listings.
In the time we live in, people pull out their phones when they go to make a purchase. They pull up Google, Google Maps, Yelp, and other services to do research with the intent if making a purchase.
The terrible fact is that 44% of local businesses don’t stand a chance because they’re not showing up in those searches.
Because what nearly half of small business owners don’t realize is that when you start your business, you also have to formally register with Google (and many other directories) to show up in any of their searches.
Do to this simple oversight, many local businesses– some of them owned by friends of mine– were struggling.
This needed to end, so I started Maptimizer.
The Maptimizer Difference
The concept of Maptimizer is a simple one. We’ve created a bulletproof service to help local businesses show up in the local searches that will get them more customers and sales.
We help businesses by using our proven Maptimizer process which includes helping them create (or claim) their Google Business Profile listing, get it listed in 50+ online directories, and doing in-depth keyword research to learn what potential customers are searching for.
I’m proud to be helping local businesses get more customers and reach the level of success they deserve.
